PRAMILA NATHAN, Child Adolescent and Adult Board Certified  Psychiatrist

Dr. Nathan is a board certified child and adult psychiatrist in private practice for over 20 years. After her medical training in India, she completed her child psychiatry training at Baylor Medical College in Houston, Texas. She has had extensive experience in the administration of psychopharmacological agents in treating childhood disorders. She offers individual and family therapy.

Her approach to children is holistic. She views the child’s problem as an expression of family systemic disturbance, and many times may not need medication intervention. Her specialty is in treating childhood disorders ADHD, childhood depression disruptive behavior disorders, PDD, bipolar and childhood schizophrenia. Her uniqueness is in the ability to form a compassionate alliance with the child as well as the family and bringing her Eastern philosophical training into therapy. She does not prescribe medications in the absence of therapy. Therapy is a must whether it is with her or with another mental health professional.

JUDY SPROTZER, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Sprotzer is a licensed clinical psychologist in practice for over 20 years. She treats a range of psychiatric disorders, and works with individuals, children, teens, adults, couples and families, drawing from many therapeutic modalities. She has collaborative, interactive, supportive styles. She sees her role as helping clients navigate life’s transitions, whether it is coping with parenting issues, divorce, infertility, illness or loss. Her goal is to help uncover the roadblocks to living a fuller, enriched life.

Dr. Sprotzer attended Barnard College (Columbia University), Wesleyan University and the University of Hartford.  She also completed a two year post doctoral externship at the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy. She has lectured on parenting and divorce issues and co-authored a children’s book.

SUZANNE KING, LCSW

Suzanne is a licensed clinical social worker in a private group practice for the past 17 years.  She enjoys guiding and supporting individuals of all ages as they navigate through life transitions including the teen years, college adjustment, pregnancy and post pregnancy, parenting and adulthood. Her specialties include the diagnosis and cognitive and behavioral treatment of all anxiety and depressive disorders. Suzanne utilizes a holistic approach to treatment with an emphasis on the mind/body connections. She collaborates with outside providers such as school, pediatricians and physicians when necessary. She has over 25 years of experience in outpatient mental health.

JANICE G. PEREIRA, MSN, APRN, BC

Janice is a ​graduate of Fairfield University Nursing school Connecticut . She has extensive work experience in administering psychopharmacological agents and conducting psychotherapy and psychiatric evaluations for adults. She consults at Yale University Department of Psychiatry West Haven mental health clinic and at Family Services Woodfield in Bridgeport Connecticut . She offers psychotherapy and medication management.
