What is PCCAF?

Psychotherapy Center for Children, Adults and Families

A PLACE FOR FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO GROW AND FIND NEW SOLUTIONS FOR LIFE’S CHALLENGES

PCCAF is a well established multidisciplinary group of a Clinical Psychiatrist, Psychologist, a Nurse Practitioner and Social Workers. We offer psychiatric and psychological services to individuals, children, adolescents couples and families. We believe that each individual and family have great potential to change.

Our goal is to help overcome roadblocks in order to live a more meaningful and balanced life. We have been a part of the community for many years, offering treatment to children and adults for a variety of psychiatric disorders as well as life’s transitions.

Our approach is holistic. We view the problem as an imbalance occurring at multiple levels, from cellular biology to individual psyche, to family systems. In a non-judgmental, compassionate environment we help in exploring the various causes of psychological distress in order to promote optimal health and well being.

INSURANCE & FEES

We participate in a majority of insurance plans. It is important that you verify with your insurance carrier whether we are in the panel.

For those clients who wish to protect their confidentiality and not use their insurance coverage, a discounted rate will be established. For clients who do not have insurance coverage, a sliding scale fee may be arranged. We offer a sliding scale for self pay rates. These vary with each clinician.

To determine if you have mental health coverage through your insurance carrier, the first thing you should do is call them.  Check your coverage carefully and make sure you understand their answers.  Some helpful questions you can ask them:

  •     What are my mental health benefits?
  •     What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  •     How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
  •     How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?
  •     Is approval required from my primary care physician?

*Notice to Patients: Please bring in your co-payment and/or deductible at the time of your visit.
